Stem Cell Sciences appoints Daniel Stewart & Co. plc
News Release – 1 July 2008
Daniel Stewart & Co., stockbroker and corporate finance adviser to smaller and medium-sized companies, has been appointed as Broker and Nominated Adviser to Cambridgeshire-based Stem Cell Sciences plc (AIM:STEM, ASX:STC), a provider of cells and cell culture media to the global pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical research markets.
Stem Cell Sciences has developed processes and technologies that enable its customers –pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies – to their accelerate drug discovery programmes and regenerative medicine therapies. It joined the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market in July 2005.
Currently, Daniel Stewart advises three companies in the healthcare sector, including Tristel plc and Asterand plc both of which are also engaged in pioneering science, and are all covered by Daniel Stewart’s Healthcare Analyst, Vadim Alexandre.
